Montauk technical chat
I've gotten a few emails reguarding my trip up to the Montauk get together about some technical help on various items.
Here's my offer to anyone interested.
I'll be up there all day Friday, Sat and Sunday with my own transportation.
If some of you want to get together and talk shop for 2 to 4 hours one day, I'll commit.
Electrical, mechanical whatever, specfic to your boat or in general.
You want to learn how to work with a voltmeter, bring one with you and I'll have you building a nuke plant in no time.
Ya'll will need to determine whether we meet on someones boat or in one of those big NJ car trunks.
No questions are too simple. I promise I won't laugh after all I've worked on Bayliners.
The only thing is you guys that are interested have to get together and come up with a meeting plan. You can use this thread or PM each other.

More of a Proctologyst than a Gynecologist.you must feel like a doctor at a cocktail party
Timmy,
Forget the rolling boat shot.
Tried that on a Hatteras motor tub comming back from the Keys on auto pilot with the .357 sig round.
Closest I came was just under a wing.
Just like trying to hit the honey spot on a full wave water bed.
Damn near impossible unless you strap yourself to the subject.

True story! The first time I took a pistol (.38 Special) on a shark trip we got tired watching the gulls diving and stealing our chum. So I pull out the pistol and whack the bird on the first shot! I've been out countless times since then and have never been able to nail a bird since. I've burned many boxes of shells trying, but have never been able to duplicate the feat.
