2020 Season

Post by PeterPalmieri »

For my friends here who are not on Facebook. Here is a recap of the 2020 season.

Started off with the boat being stolen and recovered. Many trips with our family this year. My two little boys have worked their way up to the title of crew. Shannon has been recovering from being hit by a car and wasn’t able to come out with us since Labor Day. Haven’t put that out there publicly for legal reasons, she hopes to go back to work early in the new year. But the boys stepped up, it’s not easy to trust an 8 and 11 year old while I’m up on the bridge but we made it work.

I did cheat slightly and included a few pics from our trip with Carl.

Starting to think a lot harder about diesels now that the kids are getting their sea legs. But overall very happy with how she ran this year.

I see lots of smiles, that's what its all about! Your boat looks great and love the pictures in and around Fire Island Inlet.

When Diesels make sense, you'll get them.

Sorry to hear about Shannon, glad she is on the mend enough to get back to work soon. You have had a few overly interesting years recently.

Peter

Great Video. The kids will have a lot of great memories, and will always look back on their days spent with dad on the boat.

Regards to Shannon. Hope all is well.

Haha. In fairness Tony is way cooler then I am. His boat is nicer and when I first joined the board I thought maybe he was the famous soccer goalie.

Now that is funny.

Enjoyed the lunch that day. Wish some of us were closer so we could get together from time to time for quick lunch's and coffee.

I wish I had a dollar for every time someone thought I was the soccer goalie. I have missed him by minutes in a couple of places, he used the same band for his wedding that I did. A couple of times it got me reservations in a couple of NY eateries that were tough to get into. The guy haunts me.
