Trim Tab Mounting

Hey guys, thanks so much for the info you have provided as I continue to upgrade my boat. I am going to be installing a Bennett tab system. Going to go with 30x12’s. I was wondering how far up from the bottom of the V did those with tabs measure? Should I go with Bennett’s recommendation of 8” from the keel or do our 31’s like them at a different point. Thanks
