However, if you are ever down in Texas and want to spend some time on the water, you have an open invitation. I’m south of Houston. While I’m not much of a fisherman, I can get you out on the water and show you my little part of the world. And if you do fish I can rustle up a real fisherman to go with us and put you on some fish.

What a great community is an understatement. Through the years we have seen a number of members come and go and what we have seen that in the time of need a member(s) have always stepped up to the plate. As in this case to keep the Board up and running and in most cases it was to help a member in need.

Several times we have seen members with medical needs have a member step up to help out. In natural disasters members were there to help other members.

That is the beauty of Capt. Pat's legacy.

The value of this board has and always will be the contributors, Matt just expanded the realm a bit, but without his contribution we would have been a mess.
A lot of very smart people here not only when it comes to boat repairs but when it comes to their everyday jobs.

Actually I am checking into that.

Now that the board has been upgraded, I pay for quite a bit of space and am thinking about direct picture posting to the Web domain so they remain. But the site can't be photo bombed. That's why Pat eliminated direct hosting quite a while back. People will not be able to load poster size pics.
And there in lies a big part of the trouble on getting people to resize their pics.

I will limit size.

Until then it's the free hosting sites.

I would like to say thanks again to Matt for his work on the site. To me it works flawlessly and see no change or problems. I enjoy looking in on a regular basis as I always learn something. Again thanks.
Also let's not forget Bruce and all he has done to keep the site up and running over the years. I hope members and visitors will not forget Bruce and make a contribution to help Bruce fill in his financial hole.
