Hey Kevin, (re: window cover)

Post by STeveZ »

This looks like one piece of vinyl?
How/how often is it fastened? (I only see one snap)
What, if any, backing?
Does it "blow up" with air under way?

Thanks, your 28 looks fantastic!

Steve,
Just added a bunch of photos. Click on the same link and two of the window cover. It is sunbrella fabric with snaps at all the corners. Spent a little over 2 bills just for the cover. It blew over 100 mph here for Wilma and the last one stayed on with out problems. Problem was when I put it in the washer machine it came apart, so this is the new one.

Other photos are some from the engine install with Sid from Steyr.
In the photos with just me in the boat the speed was about 27 knots.
With the new props it will run about 30 loaded like in the tournament.

I have a ton of photos of prior to the rebuild also, Imay throw some on there so you guys can see what a piece of junk it was.
