worton creek marina

Post by hlblake »

Not really a question but drove over to Worton Creek Marina - early today (long day driving).

I have spoken with the owner (John) a few times over the years a different boat shows but he really seem like nice person that really like boats.

It was like some kind of retirement home for old Bertram hulls, I think I counted close to 10; mostly 31s plus some 28s just sitting in the yard waiting for someone to right a big check

there was also a old PT boat, in disrepair but it did look cool

I keep thinking someone should fix its hull to use as a plug and make a mold

There were also some Bertram 31 being worked on / finished up.

One of the really nice looking 31s had a "White Water Marina" logo on it, it was getting some work done.
Not sure if that means anything to any of you

Anyway I did take some pictures if anyones interested I can try and share them.

As you will find out that hanging out on this site requires pictures of 31's. We love pictures.
