Hyannis

Great looking scenery. Looks like a great place to spend the summer.

How do you get around with all that wind?

Thanks Cam.

Tony, I don't...this summer in 90 days, I only cruised 350nm...usually I do 500-700nm per summer. 30-40nm winds inside the ports was a daily phenomenon. Gusts were at 50nm.
Others, who don't own a deep V boat, did even less...

It was interesting to see the myriads of tourists in those rented sailboats arrive exhausted, handing over their torn sails to the sail-mender, at the docks. Those guys did big business this summer.
As for me, the unimaginable happened. One of the four SS pillars holding my bimini was completely snapped in two, to continue my trip I had to place a spear gun's stainless arrow alongside and create a sort of cast around the pillar tube with tape. Lucky I had a speargun onboard that was leftover by my son.

Love the photos Yannis. If these are the meals you're preparing in the galley of a 28 Bertram I can only imagine what you're capable of at home. Wow!

Thanks, Max.
I’m blessed by a 70 lit fridge and 30 lit freezer that provide almost (not entirely) the same benefits as in a home.
There is also...plenty of time to do things, other than pull ropes and drop anchors.
Readily available fresh produce renders the task easier too.

The best thing about great ingredients and produce...the less you do to them the better.

For sure.
One other thing is the cost. Imagine eating out in restaurants for 90 days!
