28 hull

Good morning all, I have a friend looking at a 28 which I have as well but he asked me if there are any known hull issues like water saturation?. I have not had any problems but not sure if there are common hull problems. I believe he said it is a 73/74.Thanks again for the info.

The hulls are solid without any serious issues. Eventually there will be some blistering depending on how long they sit in the water. We barrier coated our 31 back in 1986 and have never looked back.

Like any other boat you will find some Gel Coat voids, that will open up if you have the bottom blasted. Some may hold water.

Get a survey. They should use a moisture meter.
