galvanic isolator

Post by kross1 »

Hello All
I have a 1983 FBC in the manual it does not mention a galvanic isolator.
In the 1986 manual it does mention one. I can't find one. What year did they start?
Any help thanks.

Kenny

You may have us all stumped on this one. If I had to guess I would say it started when ABYC started to require them.

I've noticed a few things in the manual available on the Bertram website that don't hold true on my 1980 either... (trim tabs etc which were added later i believe).

In my original manual I have things that don't add up.
What would a galvanic isolator look like back in the day?

Probably not much different than they do today. Maybe slightly larger, but it's not like it would look like a toaster.....
