Where to buy Yanmar Parts

Post by jackryan »

I need a few metric nuts, spacers and other MISC parts for my 4LHA STP's and the local distributor does not have them in stock. Does anyone here have a good source for Yanmar parts that I can order and have shipped to me?

Thanks,

JR

Hey Charlie,

I agree with you. Although these guys are distributors, they seem to have moved on from Yanmar and carry very few parts now.. I would like to find a Yanmar distributor that carries lots of parts in stock. I'm thinking theres gotta be a big yanmar distributor/parts dealer that has a large parts inventory out there.

I have found several places online for Yanmar parts. Google the Part Number and Yanmar and you may find some also.

Toad Marine Supply seems like my go to lately.

I just got off of the phone with Mack Boring. Yanmar has a very proprietary system for their parts dealers and they cannot ship into the territory of another dealer. I understand that system for engines and larger components like outdrives, but it seems like a crazy system to me for smaller parts like boats and spacers. Some of the parts are available on McMaster Carr, but they come in boxes of 50 to 100. Mike, I'll give your web search suggestion and Toad marine a try.

Thanks Guys!

I ended up making the order with Toad Marine Supply. All of the part #'s on their site were right on. I'll make a followup post to let y'all know if everything was in stock and correctly shipped. Thanks for the help!!
