Bass cakes tonight.
That's my boy with the big smile, he did most of the crankin then we let him gaff. Talk about a happy kid...........

Nothing big yet, maybe 25lbs on the last trip. Going this afternoon with the boy and girl see if they're still hanging around.

Great pic and great catch! Nothing beats boating/fishing with your kids, or in my case now, the grandkids!

Also.. a beautiful cockpit! Is the wood coaming trim laminated or cut from solid chunks?

Good stuff JP,

I made the mistake of showing the wife the picture and she loves the teak...I have the same problem Frank does. It looks fantastic and the look on your boy's face was worth all the hard work. As a kid my dad and I were always fart'in around with boats together.

He will remember the sound of those diesels, salt spray and rollin around out there catch'in fish for the rest of his lfe. Good for you.

Boy, what a great pic. I have a new grandson and I'm in a count down mode for age. He's eight months old.

But we have 2 twin granddaughters who are eight yrs old.

Very nice JP. Pictures like these are very inspiring for guys in the middle of a restoration project (like me) Keeps me focused on the light at the end of the tunnel. Also, enjoyed the article in "The Edge"
