Hey guys it’s been a long time
I’ve been having problems with my Northstar

Does anybody have a name or business that can
Recalibrate this GPS unit
Yes it’s old 17 years old
But I would like to get it tuned up
If anybody knows of a place that could
Recalibrate ,, the sattelite signal or works on

Re: Northstar GPS sattelite reconfiguration
Yeah I’m preety sure it doesn’t go through the prompts
Just goes right to providing the serial number
then it re- boots
And goes back to normal but I lost all saved waypoints
When I shut it off
And start it ,,, goes right to serial number prompts
Nobody knows anybody snywhere that services these machines
What a drag

Unfortunately the days of repairing these machines are long gone. I tried last year with a Garmin. I was told not worth it and no parts are available as well as repairing electronics is a lost art.
Good luck in you search but be ready to replace it.
