STUART, Fla. -- Authorities said a verbal argument ended when a Stuart man threw his wife from a boat and left her in the ocean about 1/4 mile from shore.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office reported the woman treaded water on Sunday until she was able to flag down a passing boat.
Once the woman got back to dry land, she told deputies that her husband had tossed her overboard and left her but that she had wanted to get off the boat anyway.
Despite his wife's protests, the man was charged with domestic battery.
He was released Monday on $5,000 bond.

They had another one right here in Melbourne a few months back... drunk guy tossed his wife off his sailboat in the innercoastal. She swims to shore, calls cops... the boat cops trace the guy down but he refuses to stop, and then tries to outrun them in his SAILBOAT... they finally got him after shooting some teargas canisters in his cockpit.
Rawleigh,
Thought you were going to say, " . . . too much fun."
