Which number is carved on a bulkhead of a boat the hull# or the USCG# on a documented vessel? thanks Russ

USCG Documentation # gets affixed in a permanent method that's fairly easy to find.

Document numbers are usually on a plaque and epoxied to the hull some place on the boat. Bertram did print/wrote part and hull numbers in various places during the build depending on what you are looking at. I believe the early models had them written some place up in the V Birth.
