I should be more specific.
No lenses, because we were trying to keep them simple and affordable. This makes for less complicated tooling and casting. Plus I don't really know where to get the lenses anymore for real.
Most who I know (I stress MOST) are not using the nav. lights up there anymore. So for what most are doing, this is the right direction to go.
I hope that answers your question more fully.

Didn't you say that the lens and light area would be filled in and solid so no holes in them for water to enter the boat? Just checking.
