Didnt know people actually did this...
Found this shot on another forum... Didnt know that it was actually possible....
'79 Bertram 31' Sedan
We had a factory outboard 28 come in for a Honda 225 repower a few years back.
The fuel tank was where the engines were and was very stable under way.
Boat sat fine in the water.
Boat manuvered a little better with the steering that far back.
I always meant to take pics of the boat, but the marina chased the owner away before I could.

I have seen a 33ft Bertram with twin 250hp Yamaha SWII EFI on a bracket. The boat cruised at 24mph and topped out at 33mph.
I have only heard of one 31ft Bertram with OBs in Florida and hear that it is fast but extremely wet at 40mph.
The 28ft Bertram, there has to be half a dozen with OBs around.
The 26ft Bertram came with a factory knotched transom and at least 20 boats are out of the factory like this.
The 25ft Bertram, I have seen and have pictures of at least 15 boats with OBs (all aftermarket install). Very common.
Not all look too bad
