Well this article explains it a little better than before and the Captain of the boat was a Girl in the 23' boat, if you didn't realize that from the earlier article.

I was interrupted on the first post but to add to this, there was another Mako Shark video by another boat the same day swimming around close to the same area 300/400 yds off the beach within a short distance of where the fish that was caught, shown on a local fishing program Sunday night that was estimated bigger @ 14'-15' long. I'll see if I can get the video link posted of that fish.
