Converting FBC to Sportfish

Hi Guys...My 1980 FBC is still in the ugly duckling stage...Old Cummins 504s are coming out next week and then I will attack the boat cosmetically...The existing rear bulkheads and door are in terrible shape, so I removed them...Since I completely glassed in the new Holmsey windshield and will have one piece windows on the sides, do you guys think I can do without the bulkheads and just use half bulkheads in front of the engines and have a soft door and windows or do you think I will still get sway in the bridge??
