As some of you know or may not know, 5 years ago I started building my dream boat. We splashed Jan 16,2016 and have just over 700 hours on the Flow Scans (great product BTW)
Last season in souther California the fishing was incredible thanks to El Niño. I was Bummed I could not be a part of it on my own boat. As luck would have it the phenomenal season continued through this year. To catch a tuna over 80 lbs. in SoCal is SUPER rare. The tuna in our waters average 30-50 lbs. yesterday I caught my personal best and what could be the fish of a life time for me on a privet boat.
The fish weighed in at 253lbs.
The boat the day after we splash
4 1/2 years to build, Slashed Sept 16, 2016. 2860 hours and counting.
Its been a long haul. I remember when you said the guys on this board would shoot you for what you planned on doing to the boat. But as you have learned, this board is open to all ideas and everyone is welcome.
Great picture, I am glad it has all worked out for you. Now get some more blood on that deck.
Joe, That is one slob of a tuna....great job on the boat and enjoy the heck out of her.BH
