Netting?
I need help sourcing something. On my new tower/hardtop there is a decent sized opening under the aft railing. For a number of reasons I didn't have that with my old set up, and it was not worth adding piping at this point. That being said, it could always be added later if we change our mind. In the meantime I have been thinking it would be very effective to add some soft netting for that aft section. This would keep the kiddo and the dog from accidentally falling off the flybridge.
Any ideas of where I could get some soft netting maybe 4-5' long and about 2' high? Preferably white...
I am a bit stumped right now.
Thanks!
Dug

Re: Netting?
Dug,
You can look into soccer goalpost nets - very durable.
Alternatively, you can create a mesh with rope; I usually ask old fishermen hanging around in beach tavernas to do such tasks for me such as nets, splices, etc.... they feel useful and they make some extra pocket money. I have a book that explains how to make such simple nets but probably will not be very useful to you.
Also, come to my mind those nets they use in the military (not the camo ones) with which they secure/fasten voluminous objects onto airplane (C130) floors.

I got white lifeline netting from West Marine when I had a girlfriend with small dogs.

Rawleigh, I think that is it!!! I will take a shot at getting some soon.
As for pictures, its not on the boat and likely won't be until late May/June. After that, no problem!!!
