Interior Paint Question

Post by John F. »

I painted Crows Nest's topsides with Interlux Perfection Oyster White. I want to use Interlux Brightsides (1-part) on the interior. Any color suggestions? Interlux doesn't make a 1-part match to Oyster White. Maybe Hatteras off-white?

Thanks.

Why not the 2 part Perfection for the inside? Just curious. I like the two part paints much better.

John,

I agree with Captbone... However, Brightsides Y4381 Off White would be a better match, I think.

Capts. Bone and Patrick-

I've found that the 1-part holds up well as an interior paint, and is easier to use both from an application standpoint, a smell standpoint, and an estimating standpoint (if I estimate to little, I just get more). The 2-part is better though from a gloss and holding up perspective. Anyway, I'll think about it.

I ran out a lunchtime and West opened up a couple of cans for me. Capt Patrick--you're right, the off white looked better.

Thanks-

John

I have found the Perfection to be pretty good paint, although it held up a lot better in NY than it did in the FL sun.
