Today is Jewish New Year's Eve... Among our customs is to eat apples dipped in honey as a symbol of luxury and sweetness (kids of all ages especially love that one) and to eat pomegranates as a symbol of bounty and plenty (many kernels) in the next year...

I wish everybody a healthy, happy and prosperous 5776!!!

Home made pomegranate liquor: one cup of sugar to one cup of kernels... Store in a big jar...
