Looks like a typical day at my Ol' marina.

Except a few more knocks to the poles and boats in general vicinity at my marina.
Almost had a guy turn his slip into a dry storage space...but boat slid back off the dock when he came off the throttle.

Yep, the guys around here on the water all day are pretty good with those 40' single screw deadrises! they are fun boats to run with what we locally call a "Guinea stick" for steering that is a vertical stick attached to the gunnel that you push forward for port and pull back for starboard (named after a local backwoods watermans' community). You can go full throw of the rudder from one side to the other in about a second. They have lots of names elsewhere I am sure.

Trust me when i tell you this is not fun! Thats how i normally have to dock Phoenix . Fellow boaters at your dock are thinking what if i screw up. I have derated the props and wot. Speed down to 7.2 mph at idle but still a little fast for docking.
