Looking for 1.75" shaft end pieces

I'm going to make a prop holder for my spare props, located under my dinette table hatch. If I could find some old discarded 1.75" shafts I could cut the threaded ends off and mount them below. Figured I'd post this here in case anyone has such items. Thank you.
