I think you have it backwards... unfortunately this is a victory for ethanol and for E15

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied a rehearing on the EPA decision that put E15, fuel that is 15 percent ethanol, on the market.

That means that E15 will be allowed to go on the market. Not even the auto makers wanted it......

They refused to hear arguments on the technical merits of the E15. That all by itself is somewhat suspicious, is it not? Ethanol would never pass a technical review of its logical use, so they don't want to hear it at all. Behold! Your government at work. Fu<king morons.
