Ethanol in South Florida

Thanks for the heads up!

As of May 1, 2008, the fuel terminals in Port Everglades will be introducing a 10% ethanol-blended fuel product. After this date, conventional gasoline may not be available in South Florida... This will presumably include the FL Keys, lower SW FL, & maybe even the Bahamas. Also see: Gauging Florida's Future in Ethanol

Ethanol, which is the same alcohol that’s in liquor, is both corrosive and water soluble. You can’t just squirt it through the same pipes that carry oil and gasoline products until you’ve addressed some significant technical issues.

Oh but you can shove it down the consumers throat without any considerations and make them pay to repair ethanol destroyed items.

There needs to be a massive class action lawsuit filed against the federal government, oil companies and farmers.

Somebody slash a farmers artery so the shark lawyers start to smell blood and get this moving.
