Been a while since I last posted. Sold my 31 last fall so I'm just now realizing I need to fill the void. I'm looking at a 97 Moppie with newer 454 gassers and original fiberglass tank. The current engines were installed around 10 years ago have about 350 hours on them. Broker reports no issues. Naturally I'll have a survey but in general, would the 97 tank be as susceptible to e-10 issues as the earlier tanks? I'll add that I did replace the FG tank in my 71 FBC with Aluminum juat before e-10 hit Massachusetts and it was not inexpensive. Do not want to repeat the process now.
Thanks for any replies.
