Special thanks to Jimmy G

Just wanted to post a big thank you to Jimmy G for letting me come down to his shop and pick what i needed from one of his scrap cummins 504's. Headed down to S. Jersey on monday for a long " power day"....12 hours of driving plus a few hours of wrenching. Got exactly what was broken on mine and a few extras.
I cant say enough for Jimmy, Patrick, and the guys I have met on this site. I was in despair when i saw broken flange on one of my 504 exhaust manifolds. Searched the net high and low for parts. Nothing, anywhere. Just one post here, and lots of leads, and a guy with an engine he was going to scrap. Really a special group we have here here!
So, when i asked Jimmy ...what do you want for the parts? Answer...... Nothing, just make a donation to the site. Patrick- check will be in the mail tomorrow.
Jimmy thanks again.....
All- Jimmys boat looks better in the flesh than the pix....awesome job. Good thing....i think we were outside the scope of tne timelapse camera.
And Neal...sorry we could not swing by, but were on a tight timeline.
All the best
Giff
