Overland Boat Transport referral

Post by John Swick »

I'm looking to have my 31 Bahia Mar transported from Deale MD to Buffalo NY (or preferably over the border to my marina up on Georgian Bay Canada).
Referrals would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

John S,
Give Barney at Skipper Shipper in Jensen Beach a call 772-225-1279. He has moved my boat(1961 31 express) a bunch of times. He goes up and down the east coast all the time, you might catch him delivering a boat to the Eastern Shore with nothing booked for the return. He's fully insured and has a nice low boy air ride semi rig.

Thanks for the leads.
Was going to try to do the move myself, but when I got looking into wide load permitting.......
Not unlike up here, you've got all the government you're paying for.
Thanks again,
John

I remember the feeling! On the phone a couple times during the week, "Is it there yet, is it there yet? No Mr Stange, please go away!" :)

Now the work starts!

Have fun.
