Guys I need to put doors or openings on the port and starboard sides of Alyssa Rose to attach tags to dorsal of White and Mako sharks.

They would need to be right behind the motor covers.

Also I have the 4x12 beams I glassed in that go from the motor covers to the transom that should help with structural integrity.

I think i can figure it out and design something but if it has been done why reinvent the wheel.

My experience with Gray's Taxidermy has shown me that they are an extension of the porn industry? If you let them they will pull the old "Dutch Door" maneuver you.

Keith, I went with a tuna gate not door to keep the structural integrity..any type of door in a 31 would need some serious engineering, hull sides are very thin..BH

Keith, The framing around the tuna gate is solid coosa bonded to the hull and deck liner with a structural adhesive called plexus. Think of a house door with jacks and headers, remove any and the door frame wont stay put. Put some serious thought into cutting the doors on the sides of your 31. They sit low enough to reach over and tag. The tuna gate on my 31 can fit a 660 lb mako. BH
