Patrick, this may be especially for you, but please anyone else feel free to jump in.

I have a couple of types of glass in my arsenal, but want to give them formal definitions...

I have a criss cross with what looks like matt on the back. Is this Biaxial?

I have a criss cross that is heavy, is that woven roving?

I definitely have the thin cloth, and assume that is cloth.

Then just the matting which has fibers in all directions. That is matting, correct?

Just trying to make sure I have it straight.

Thanks!

If you are using the woven remeber to put mat on each side of it. This helps keep the resin from running out of the woven and leaving you with a weak bond. It also helps reduce some of the heavy texture the woven leaves if you are planning on finishing the area off.
