Corrosion X

Post by Russ Pagels »

Should you spray the entire engine with corrosion X. I have it mixed with 1/3 lacquer thinner so it can be sprayed. on a cold engine, warm, I don't think a hot engine would be a good idea, any thoughts, thanks Russ

Russ,

Shouldn't make much difference, but a warm engine would have less moisture standing...

Mark, not a stupid question at all if you are not familiar with the viscosity of the product. The thinner allows it to be sprayed with one of those plastic hand pump sprayers; otherwise it is too thick for spraying.

Thanks Tommy. I use it liberally just never thought about using it as an anti-corrosive over the entire engine. :)
