At least the boat is blocked up now instead of the hull laying on the ground.

I guess it cost him a few bucks to get her off the ground. And what are you complaining about? It's 12 feet less than what you are dealing with now.

Whom ever buys it is going to need a good Sawzall. Looks like the rudders bent, could be hull damage if the rudder post was pushed throught the deck. Tony Meola

31 Express

Post by Capt. Mike Holmes »

$9,800 is way too much money, $5,000 might be too much. There is a 1962 express in good conditon - original - down from me that could be probably had for $20,000, maybe less. It floats and everything, probably runs.

its a bare hull... nothing on this boat looks salvagable except the hull itseld and the windshield... if I had 5k, a load of time on my hands and somewhere to put this mess I might consider it..

put it next to your other one.. I'm sure Mom would love that. From what I hear of your schedule you've got plenty of time to do another project. Heck buying the stuff in bulk would probably get you a discount, you could build the 2 of them for 1/3 the cost , and 1/2 the time.......

I'm surprised that one of the HatterAss owners have not seen this as an opportunity to move up the social ladder. It's a lot cheaper then buying a house in Hamptons and will certainly give you a better social status among boaters.

I'm afraid I'd be outbid by a few bucks at the last second so I'm holding back.
