what a relief!!

I had the vac truck come out today to get rid of the 100 gallons of 9 year old gas that has been sitting in the boat.
Worse case thoughts have been on my mind since i purchased her, but the previous owned had said that he never used ethanol gas.
After having it sucked out and cleaned, i now know he was true to his word.
The tank looks almost brand new inside.

Now, i have question for the Faithful.
I'm doing a diesel conversion with 6BTA's and wondering about the return lines.
I plan on installing a generator in the future, and want to prep the filler tube inspection plate for the lines.
There are the 2 threaded holds for the engine returns, and i can drill and tap another for the generator return, but i don't think i have enough space for a vent hole.
What have you guys done? Maybe vent the tank from the fuel supply inspection plate?
Any and all advice is appreciated.

Eric

Eric,

Plumb in a T to each blank hole in the manifold plate. Port engine and generator return to one, starboard engine return and vent to the other. Make sure that the final vent fitting is well above the manifold...

Engine return lines should be 1/2", generator return line should be 3/8", and vent line should be 5/8".
