Russ,

Oil and oil filter at 100 hrs or 1 year, which ever comes first. Earlier can be prudent, but rarely necessary.

Fuel filters as needed...

Pats recommendation was the standard here in Florida and else where where hotter ambient and sea water temps ruled.

Cummins goes as high as 250 hours as do others.

Here is a Cummins oil service bulletin PDF on oil schedules and recomendations. Its a good read for everyone interested in learning a little more about oil and maintenance schedules.

Guys:

I found this interesting... Is this a typo and did they mean if the oil isn't changed enough or too frequently?

Drain Intervals
Correct oil and filter change intervals must be maintained for each specific Cummins® engine model. A sharp increase in component wear and damage can occur if excessive drain intervals are followed. See the appropriate Operation and Maintenance manual to determine the appropriate drain interval for your engine and application.

Never mind.... read it differently. Clean oil is always a good thing!
