Check it out then start on all the electronics and davits and shark sling in between trips and then work on the cosmetics.

Kieth,
Looking good just take it easy on the trial run you never know what is going to break or loosen up. You will find it a completely different ride that the old I/O boat and a lot more room to work. Glad to see your finally getting to put her in the water.

Thanks Pete

I was able to fish Alex boat From 31 Bertram after I helped him rebuild her.
Makos and thresher's had a double going on the threshers.

Also fished a 32 Blackfin in Cabo blue marlin fishing.

Fished some friends boats lots of Pacifica's one monster in Cabo did a 95# marlin on 4# test Catalina Island Tuna Club record stood for 50 years also ran a 65 Drake and many more but the 31 much bigger than my 24 big step up for this old Poe Boy.

If the through hulls and everything do not leak to bad I will slowly motor out and see about vibration then go from there thank you for sharing your experience reminding me to take it easy great advice.

If anything like my yearly shakedown cruises you'll find a bunch of switches that worked fine on land hanging up, an overly drippy packing gland, maybe a new hatch or floor vibration , idle off a bit but overall not a whole lot that a little debugging can't fix.

Good luck and let us know how it went.

Might want to keep the deck out so you can see what everything's doing while underway... Doesn't look like you'll have easy access to anything with that floor down...

Keith looks good. You could get the seam on the engine box tighter in order to keep the water off the engine.

Everything went great no vibration but the impeller need replacing in the port motor.

Guess I need to look for a manual.

I think the 32 blackfin in Cabo was named something like Eagle can remember I could look it up.

It's late I will get back to you guys later I have a plumbing job in a 3 mill house in the morning.
