There is a tavern near me by the name of "Nutz Deep" always found that funny.

There was guy from round these parts who had a bit of a speech impediment. When it got close to deer hunting time he would always tell me his knife was "Wazorshawp" which is where I got the name for my boat. He also used to point out when he saw an attractive girl, "I'd wicker box,"

It was a toss up between "Razorsharp" and "Wicker Box"

Not to make light of people with speech issues as everyone has a little something that makes them unique! I, for instance am fat ugly and my mother still dresses me funny but that for another time.

The above mentioned gentleman with the speech issues came from a long line of folks that couldn't quite get it right. His dad was a roofer and he followed in his foot steps as did a bunch of his brothers all of large family of boys all roofers but a few.

The father was unaffraid to just cold call someone if he noticed a roof issue as he drove past and as the story goes he drove past a home in bad need of some shingles. He stopped and knocked on the front door and when the man answered he said, "Can I put awoof on it fo ya?" Of course the home owner said, "What?" Again he said, "Can I put awoof on it fo ya." And again the home owner said, "What?" At that point the old roofer threw his hands up and as he walked away he said, "desus twist don't yo undestwand Engwish?"

There was guy we used to hail out on Lake Michgan for spot on info when looking for the salmon and steelhead. His boat was "Stinky Box."
He was a really good guy and always had a story or two at the watering hole after a day on the lake. He told me one time he saw this big Clorox bottle coming at him and his buddy pointed out the fact that he was coming straight at them. He said he'll veer off but he never did and at the last second he cranked it to avoid the collision but clipped him stern and starboard at speed! The Clorox bottle had a big hole in the side and was taking on some water. Stinky Box was a 20 ish ft Lund aluminum and had only minor damage. The guy who was running up from Shitcago with his head firmly up his ass in a 30 something Carpliner was apologizing profusely. My guy in Stinky Box said, Sorry? Sorry? Sorry doesn't get the shit out of my pants you SOB! The other guys said, I'm taking on water! Which was replied with, Good I hope you f$&king drowned as he motored away.

I read about a guy who was questioned why he named the boat he bought around the time he filed for divorce "FUJIMO". Someone thought it a Japanese term... not so!

His answer.. "F*** You Jane I'm Moving Out"!

There's two on this board that always bring me a smile...

1. It's gotta take a lot of brass to name your boat "Morningwood"!!!!

2. And how about "Suziespissed"? Did she turn out to like the boat afterall
and she's no longer "Pissed" or did she like the boat but never get over the
name and now she's really "Pissed"???

One of my best friends is the 4th in line to carry his name. Hence he is Brooke Tyler IV.

His boat is named "IV PLAY"

:)

We make his wife make the marina reservations.

Then there was the boat he wanted to name for a friend. "MILF" which translated to Man I Love Fishing!!!!!

Was just driving down the Overseas Hwy in the work truck, and I see's a big ol' HydraSports CC on a trailer...
3' tall font about 12' down the hullside, bright yellow, the name: VAGINA BEACH.
Subtle.
Classy.
Understated.

If I had a $ for every woman who's seen that and said "seriously?" ... or "really?".
I'd be sitting pretty.

Charlie,
Somehow I don't think you fit into either category. When I use these terms I am speaking off the South Florida folk that have more neon lights and bling than brains. I hope you did not have that boat and live in S Florida at the same time!
In all seriousness, I don't intend to offend anyone with one, I am sure they are fine boats.

I had the same boat with 200's. Fast, smooth, and wet...but you could outrun the spray...I miss that boat.

Bruce,
Your going to have the PETA people picking your house, if you post another cat picture, funny picture. Here is another name from a commercial lobster boat from up in North East, DILLIGAF (Do I Look Like I Give A Fu*k) it was in 10" high letters across the bow and transom.

My boat name is " Bonsai" and maybe , maybe.... is that the reason why some "knowledge" boat people ask me if it is made of wood ???
Anyway is the strongest bonsai I have ever had. The other 2 or 3 (bonsai trees) after some cuts die on the next 2 or 3 weeks. This one, I cut , I grind, I do
a lot of things and is just waiting to go wet and shine again.
All the best
