2013 North Carolina Rendezvous

Hey Guys,
Below is a copy of an email from our noble leader, Capt. Lin, and I asked his permission to post it here. We hope some of you might be able to join us for the 2013 NC Bertram Rendezvous on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1!

OK, I get it. It is obvious that I am running late when folks start calling and e-mailing wanting to know if I am alive to learn about NC BERTRAM 2013.
We are very much on for 2013. Similar format as prior years.
Cross, Joel, and Owen are graciously hosting us on Friday evening at Causeway Marina for fun and food at 6:30 PM.
Ann and brother Jim will host and entertain us at Harker’s Point for lunch on Saturday after a lighthouse climb at Cape Lookout on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Ann has arranged with Park superintendent for us to have the lighthouse, privately, on Saturday AM. It has been 2 years since we last did this so it will be fun to do it again.
Please let me know over the next few days that you plan to join us and we will gather head count in a week or two. Also. Please indicate if you are interested in climbing the lighthouse at Cape Lookout.
We will organize departure schedules for Saturday but we will most likely depart Beaufort inlet at 8:30 AM on Saturday AM for those who want to climb and return thru Beaufort inlet around 11 AM to meet the boats that only want to go to Harker’s Point. More on all of this later.
Again, sorry to be so slow but I look forward to seeing all of you May 31.
