Hull number

Where can I find the hull number on my 46'6" SF? Where did Bertram usually put these?

1972 on it should be on the transom. Pre 72 they could have put it anywhere. Try looking at the transome under the deck. I found numbers thee, others have found them up in the berth area.

Good hunting.

A friend who had a 1969(?) 46 says the hull number is "top right corner of stern as looking from the rear forward."

I could not find mine in all the normal places, but I did find the number 664 written inside my port engine cover when I re-installed the engine sound insulation. It was just written on the inside on the fiberglass with a black marker. I believe that numbers seems correct for a 1968 hull. I also found the date 7/7/68 written after the first hull layup from inside with a black marker while sanding my hull last year. Does anyone know if #664 would appear to be a chronologically correct number for a boat that was built during July 1968?
Thanks,
Craig
