Looks like all the pain and suffering thats stopping somemany new projects from starting.

Have fun and remember it only takes 1 ounce of dust injested into an engine to kill it.

Thanks JP

Tell me more about the injestion please.

Keith

What JP is saying is get those engines out of there, and when you are done, hose everything down, and paint the bilge.

Fiberglass dust can kill an engine. It turns to resin when heated and gums up the works.

By way, looks like someone already glassed in the shaft logs, but with all the dust I can't tell. If they did, consider your self lucky. One less thing to do.

Hello Tony

That's good information thank you.

Can you tell me how prevalent this problem is.

It's nineties degrees today so I'll wait till it cools off a little then get in there and shop vacuum everything out good then wrap the motors.

I'm not in a position to remove the motors right now.

Thanks again.

Well took me 3 hours to clean all the dust out with the shop vacuum and rinse everything down the driveway.

I have the AC set up in the suit working really well no fog in the dive mask and a cool 65-F coming through the hose cooling me off and no itching SAWEET!

Going to let it dry off and wrap the motors in the morning then start grinding again, love it.

Here you go Joe it's a poor video but you should get the point.

When i run the hose up the pants leg i duct tape the hose to my deck boots at the ankle.

The top of the hose hangs over my neck using a piece of a T-shirt.

The smaller hose going in to the dive mask is a pain but once i get it in the right place it's not a problem and it doesn't block my view.

I do not sweat with this on but i usually use it in the early morning or late afternoon.

I have to be very considerate of my neighbors they are so close.

All the crazy set up is worth it when the clear glass and cool air is flowing love it and MacGyver would be proud and mainly my grinding time is way up and no itching love it.

I'm already planning ways to send the heat out for winter he he.

You'll see, they love me up there, in spite of the Texans and their BS. plus they have great walleye-
reminds me of Alaska people- way out in the country.

Pretty wild. But great idea.

What Wayne is asking you, is if pull the exhaust out of the shaft alley and run it down the outside against the outside bulkhead, you free up the shaft alley for storage or fish box's.

You can leave the exhaust port where they are, you just need to use elbows. Iwould suggest if you do that and use elbows, I would increase teh exhaust tubing to 6 inches if you are not there already.

Sing along with me.....Hey Joe, where you goin' with that "grinder" in your hand....Not sure if it's just me but this is to much, back to naming Keith's boat for a moment. How about Joe's Garage? I'm pulling out my Zappa CDs for the ride to work today!

Fish boxes .. storage.,access to the deep part of the hull.. Generally well worth the effort..I put a pair of Cabo 35 fishboxes in my 31 with NO modifications to the boxes..the 5' exhaust runs straight out new holes in the transome.. Youll love it (No elbows )
