Looking at dock space for sale with a four post lift, concrete posts , 16000lb weight limit .
Would this be adequate for a bertram 31 with diesels .
Also what is the minumum width between the posts to fit the boat. I never measured the beam at the widest point of the boat
thanks
Spencer

Spencer,
The 31 Bertram at the widest point is 11' 4" rub rail to rub rail, just about where the aft supports for the hard top meet the gunwhale. I would suggest contacting your lift installer for propper sizing more than likely 14' between poles.

I would keep my eye on craigs list for a lift. I got mine for $4,250 and was able to install myself.

Troy this lift is already installed with the dock , actually its a 20,000 lb lift, so weight that will not be an issue , its a deeded dock with property on the spill way in boyton. the width of the property is 30 feet and the dock goes out 45 feet. Its also comes with two parking spaces next to the dock

I'm sorry, I misread your post.
I have a 16k elevator lift and its more than plenty.
