Re: Only in Wisconsin!
Patrick that is the real McCoy too! We are a touched bunch up here. If you have never attended a Packers game you need to see how its done up here. Noon game parking lots and peoples yards are full of vehicles by 7am grills are smoking brats, burgers, lobster, crazy shit burning the whole town smells like a charcoal fire. Everyone is singing and partying and tossing footballs around it like a party with 70,000 of your closest friends.
Quick classic story. Ridge road is one of the roads that runs directly to Lambeau field. A few blocks down Ridge there is a church that moves its services on Sunday to I think a school auditorium during home games. They sell parking to the public in their lot for the games and very likely make more than they do passing the plate all month. Their lot is stuffed tight. once you are in, you are in until the game is over.
In fact if you want to really make a statement you could come for a late December game. Tell your grand kids, "Sonny see them missing toes on grampas right foot? That was the ice bowl of 2013 at Lambeau!"
