this is a 41' luhrs open.i fish quite offen this year on it and i feel the underwater lights are the perfect location as for the prop pockets i belive they work against you in a following sea but that another topic .
mike i think your inlet is the best test of skill and how good a boat performs.

I am guessing that there is rarely a need for any anti-fouling on the lights? Just a regular hit with a scrub brush?

just a quick wipe with the brush when you wash the boat.this 41 luhrs is the owner of oakdale yacth personal fishing boat so we use it for 5 tournaments during the year.it is a publicity thing for luhrs.i wanted to say money is absolutly no object for him and if 4 50watt lights would have been better than we would go that route.two 100 watt are the best way we have a 38' with 4 50 watt and this is much better illumination also carries a further distance.
