deck sealant

Post by Bertramp »

Aside from my B31, I have the "other B boat" .. a 21 Boston Whaler.
The deck has a fuel cell access hatch. The sealant is peeling out and needs a replace.
What would you folks recommend. Clearly a 5200 would not work, but a blend with less tenacity and good UV characteristics would be favorable, especially is it's available in grey .
Any suggestions ?

Steve,

DAP ALEX PLUS Acrylic latex caulk plus silicone - Available in gray and has a 35 yr durability guareantee.

I've used it on everything from boats to houses where a good caulk was needed, but not a structural adhesive . Good stuff...
