As I was lying in bed pondering the problems of the world,
I rapidly realized that I don't really care. It's the tortoise life for me!

1. If walking is good for your health, the postman would be immortal.
2. A whale swims all day, only eats fish, only drinks water, and is fat.
3. A rabbit only eats vegetables, runs and hops all day long, and only lives 5 years.
4. A tortoise doesn't run and does nothing energetic, yet it lives for 450 years.

And you tell me to exercise! I don't think so.

I'm retired. Go around me!

Mikey, I agree with your turtle approach...I too take the slow n steady road...too much to see in life, no need to run fast..BH

That's a totally different issue and I agree, but never stand when you can sit and never walk when you can ride. Driving is just riding behind the wheel. Had a plaque in my first car that said:
"Anyone not happy with the operation of this vehicle will observe the mistletoe attached to the coattail of the occupant of the left front seat."
Also had one that said,
"Watch for low-leaping kangaroos."

Not sure what it all means but being a short, Napoleonic Irish I'll fight you for the right to say it.
