About ten years age I used a Jersey chrome guy that came highly recommended by the sandbox. The name I believe had Electroplate in it and they did a great job. I need to send another batch and was hoping that someone had the name and some recent experience with them. Thanks.

Walter,
Thanks Walter. As I remember there were two partners one of which knew every Bertram part made. Have you used them recently?

I have some stuff out at Nassau right now, they are a bit backed up. I wouldn't procrastinate too much if its something you want done sooner then later

No I haven't Harry, but I was VERY pleased. Come to think of it, I DID send my B-20 parts to them 3-4 years ago. Stuff came out fine. My New Jersey Cousin/mate picked them up and wouldn't let me pay for them, so I can't speak for any recent price changes.

Walter, to change the subject "hatch covers". The Bomar ones worked out real good, I could not be more pleased. No more blood in the bilge if I ever go back to the canyon. I just found out that I am 3 years older than the old man on the Pawn Stars TV show.

Walter...

I wish your cousin had picked up for me the Lee Senior outriggers I just had rechromed.. that cost as much as the new ones cost.

OK Ed, How old is that? I may have you beat. This June 2, I turn 78, 35 years of which I owned my 31 Bertram.

American Electro Plating is still around. Still does a great job. The one partner sold out to the other. The one that sold out was or still is Charlie Haws neighbor.

Re-Chroming is not always a great solution to saving money. Just like a good paint job the money is in the Prep. Striping and getting a Part into the right condition just to start the chroming process takes a good amount of labor.
