Guy's,
To get away from my knee problems, I need to get some info from the faithful.
I've got a composite sole in the cockpit 3 peices of 3/4" high density foam 80 pound density. It has 3 layers of 1708 on the bottom and 2 layers of 1708 on the top, with sprayed on white gel coat and a sand finish non skid.
There is a lot of scratches and worn areas in the gel coat. There was a discussion a while back about what to use on high traffic areas, does anyone remember what paint was used, was it Sherwin Williams? or another brand. Please reply as soon as possible, thanks.
What brand of paint to use on the cock pit sole will last ?

I don't remember the site's reccomended paint, but I took the advice of the PPG rep that calls on the plant where I work. I have a homemade deck -- gelcoated fiberglass over core-cell. I rolled a coat of PPG PSX700, sprinkled it with Griptex, let it become tacky and rolled another coat. The surface is hard, easy to clean, and doesn't hold dirt like the gelcoat did. Time may change my mind on this "experment", but I am happy with the results so far.
