Tell me you didn't have to get an assembly permit, a food provider permit, a liquor license and didn't receive a summons for not having them. And WE live in what is called the land of the free! Forgot about having to declare the income for payment of taxes.

I love the two opposed white rolled arm chairs in the lower left corner out on the ice!

Pure class Gert :)

Gert

You are amazing. You not only build beutifull boats, but you know how to throw a party.

Maybe a little too north and a little too east for the NE rendevous, but looks like a great place for a party

Walter:

You forgot the sales tax, as well as the personal withholding tax!

And where we live, you also can't do that without Mobile toilets on the scene.

looks good to me. i love this kind of friendly neighborhood stuff.

last night on the news there was a story about the city of NY closing a newsstand thats been in operation in chinatown for 35 years. the problem....it THREE INCHES too close to the building its in front of. 9'3" instead of 9' 6"..........you cant make this stuff up.

Walther , even I had to have a permit for this, it costed me $ 50,- :-D , for the winter season 2011-2012 !!!!
In the old days you could sell anything you want on the ice without a permit.( this was a hole in the law ).

I didn't see a tax inspector, so what can I say.......Better luck next time guys !!!

I also wasn't aloud to sell any alchehol,....f$#@ them !I gave it away for free , and the people had to pay 1,50 for an empty cup.....

The Ice is started to melt today , so next week I will put the girl back in the water , and have fun with her again!

Gert, my wife's mother left Amsterdam in 1957, Michele learned Dutch from her and her job as a Delta flight attendant had her flying Schiphol a lot. I was blessed to find my Dutch beauty while we both had Amsterdam trips. I do recall on a bus to Den Hague many years ago seeing a 31 in a canal on the way. I had a 28 back then. Two wonderful things, beautiful things, Dutch women(not my mother in law) and 31 Bertrams. Youare welcome in Stuart Fl. Anytime, and if in Holland I would love to get in contact. Bill
