I wanted to take a concealed carry course run by the local community college here in Wilmington, NC. The info I had gave the building name but not the address, so the day before I called the continuing education office of the college to get the street address. A very accomodating deep southern lady answered my call and told me it was on Raycroft Street.. I have been around the campus quite a bit, but never saw Raycroft Street.. I asked her.. "Raycroft Street?". She assured my "Yes.. Raycroft Street".. a 2 story brick building.. You can't miss it!".

The next morning I was driving around the campus looking for "Raycroft Street" but couldn't find it. I had a map of the city.. but there was no "Raycroft Street" in Wilmington. As I drove around I finally found the brick building right where she said it was.. On Red Cross Street!

Like an old friend from N.C. says,
"it's a long way from North Carolina to South Carolina."
'bout sums it up.

I've seen it many times before, but I crack up each time.
I credit Cosby with being VERY funny and always a "family" rating.

That's Beauford SC, not Beauford NC (don't say them the same or else...).

I know the diff only because of bootcamp at Parris Island SC (not france) and 6yrs in jacksonville NC.

Someday, I may just retire down there if I can ever escape from MD with any health at all.
