Hey guys initially for the locals cable vision ch 465 is the world fishing network WFN. Some good stuff some not so good.

In any case i found. www.insidesportsfishing.com

Check out the Royal Polaris episodes there must be 15 of them.

All episodes of guys on these long range tuna boats out of San Diego. Something I've been interested in doing and also like keeping up on the tackle and techniques that have made their way from the west coast to us.

A few episodes are basically the boat loaded with all the new Shimano gear and employees testing it out. Terez, waxwing, trevala, talica, trinidad etc.

They do trips up to 23 days.

They have video of that boat too. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

There is a video "marlin at the gate" with a bunch of B31 footage.

So have you been on the Intrepid? Looks like a great boat, great fishing and awesome food.

The prices are not much different than a full 6 days of fishing at TSL during the off season when they are always covered up with huge tuna. We have seen schools of YF tuna there in June that will scare ya.....plus you get the marlin, sails, and inshore stuff too.

I've never been on one of the long range trips, but a cruise ship gives me the creeps after a few days.......guess that's why they make more than one brand of beer.

Yes the boat is awesome.. the quietness & ride are unbelievable..
woke up on one afternoon nap to think we were drifting on a school of fish or something. ..looked out the porthole to see water rushing by at 11 knots open sea area..
a 6 day er in sept a year or so ago
one of the boats in the fleet caught a 403lber .. last year.. if your into BIG tuna on a stand up rig.. .
